Arianna Fishman

Arianna is a MPA student at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, concentrating in human rights and specialising in international media, advocacy and communications. Arianna has served as a digital strategist for progressive political campaigns in the United States. She resides in New York City where she serves on the Leadership Council of Shining Hope for Communities and is applying her experience in communications, government affairs, and international journalism to her work at the United Nations Development Programme, Asia-Pacific Bureau. Arianna graduated with honours from Wesleyan University in 2013, where she studied political science, Chinese history, French and dance.

Located overwhelmingly in the global South, where most disabled people live, women with disabilities encounter levels of multidimensional discrimination that are unparalleled by other groups in the world.
